LAURA D. DOLIN
Laura Dolin is a member of The Florida and The Illinois Bar and has practiced plaintiff’s personal injury law for over 35 years. She holds a Martindale-Hubbell AV Preeminent Rating and has dedicated her practice to personal injury, wrongful death cases, and representing persons injured as a result of the negligence of others. In June 2019, Laura founded DolinLaw P.A.
Laura Dolin was born in Chicago, Illinois where she attended and graduated from the University of Illinois [Champaign, Illinois] with a B.A. degree in Speech Communications with honors in 1981. Her Juris Doctor degree was awarded in 1986 from South Texas College in Houston. While attending law school, she was a member of the Honorary Society of the Order of the Lytae, Assistant Casenote Editor for the Law Journal, and published an article for AARP, Washington, D.C.
Laura later became a mentor for law students at Nova Southeastern University Law Center in their personal injury clinic. For a conference at the George Washington Law School held in May 2006, she co-authored “Guideline for Handling Cases Involving Sexual Abuse of a Minor by a Public-School Teacher.” This article was published in the 2006 Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers Magazine and in 2009 Nova Law Review.
Laura was on the Board of Directors for Monarch Care from 2010 to 2016 (MonarchCare is a non-for-profit Fort Lauderdale organization that provides a variety of services for vulnerable individuals from ages 1-100) and was awarded the “Transforming Lives Award” in 2014. Laura has served as President for the South Broward Bar Association from March 2019 through March 2020 and currently sits on the Board for this organization.
Laura looks forward to the opportunity of becoming an officer on the Board of Directors for the Healing Arts Institute in Fort Lauderdale.
